You have been chosen from hundreds of students to educate the newest group of young historians! Luckily for you, you are able to take your team of students back in time to show them how the United States looked when the country was just beginning!
Gather your team, Time Traveler, you are about to embark on a quest to discover the native peoples of the New World! You will bring with you 2 people, and as a group you will be assigned one tribe to research. Each of you will have a specific topic to focus on. When you have completed your quest, you will meet up again at the assigned location to discuss your findings. When you have put together your research into a visual representation, you will come back to the current year and present your research to all the new historians.
Essential Questions: What Native American tribes were living in the area of the original colonies? What types of homes, foods, and clothing did they wear? How are they similar and different than those of our time?
