Think about what you already know about the conflict between the North and the South. Save a copy of the following Google doc and make a list of things that you remember that caused the North and South to disagree. Then share it with your teacher!<\/p>\n

Watch the slide show about the causes of the Civil War.\u00a0 When you are done, go to the online white board and write down the three things you think are the most important causes of the war.<\/p>\n

When you are done, turn to your partner and discuss what they thought were the most important causes. Did you agree? Disagree? When you are finished discussing, raise your hand and explain your conversation to the teacher before going on to the next step.<\/p>\n
